The client approached us intending to create a logo that should depict the institute in the right way. House of Wisdom is a coaching institute that prepares candidates for the various entrance exams in India.
Once as a center of knowledge for the entire world, the Grand Library of Baghdad in 8th century Baghdad was known as the "House of Wisdom". Inspired by such a great institute, the client founded a center of knowledge in the form of a house of wisdom institute in Ahmedabad to prepare students for different competitive exams.
We wanted to create a logo that is easily recognizable, logical, and minimal. which represents the 8th century in a different way with a modern touch. We decided to proceed with the marked one after conducting extensive research and analysis.
Just like the name, our logo is the representation of our faith in true learning. To capture the significance of value addition it brings to the students, and how it represents the hub of knowledge, we used a vintage door with an oval head. The door head is reminiscent of a door from centuries past. The oval head of the door is divided into eight parts, representing the 8th century. Plus it is given the impression of light and light is also considered a symbol of wisdom.
The “House of Wisdom” Grand Library of Baghdad in 8th-century Baghdad was a global centre of knowledge. The client created a House of Wisdom institute in Ahmedabad to prepare students for competitive exams, inspired by such a superb institute.
